Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses art media as its primary mode of communication.

At some point in their lives, people may find themselves overwhelmed by the intensity of their emotions which are difficult to face either by themselves or with others.
The work
Art therapy involves using a wide variety of art materials, for example paints, clay and batik, to create a visual representation of thought and feelings
Art therapists have a considerable understanding of art processes underpinned by a sound knowledge of therapeutic practice, and work with both individuals and groups in a variety of residential and community based settings.

Mandala Colouring
Mandala Coloring is simple and just about anyone can do it. It’s non-competitive and It has a wide range of applications from using it in Art therapy, Colour therapy or helping with hand-eye co-ordination skills.
It’s also fun, and for those of us who have a lot of responsibilities, Mandala colouring can be time away from stress and the chattering of our inner mind. You can also achieve states of peace and stillness.
Mandala coloring is action oriented—a lot like Zen art where the achievement of “no thought” produces superior results. In our case, “no thought” means suspended inner chattering.
As you color your mandala and progress through the stages of attaining longer durations of peace and stilness, you will likely access feelings of greater awareness and synchronicity, psychic or telepathic sensitivity.
These feeling can gradually be carried through to your daily life and you can begin to manage the inner dialogue to be better suited to your highest needs and interests!
Mandala coloring is a direct method to consciously gain experience with suspending the inner dialogue and to eventually achieve a peace and stillness in your everyday life.
