Creative Therapy is a way of exploring and understanding yourself, your
relationship to the world around you as well as your own unique inner
world.
Past events can leave deep wounds that can affect your present life situation, affecting how you relate to the world and to the people in it.
If unresolved, the relationship between yourself and the world around you can be stopped from achieving its full potential.
Many people find therapy a helpful way to explore issues and difficulties in their life, others may use it as a form of personal development, to achieve greater clarity and fulfillment.
There are different forms of therapy that you can choose to explore.
Creative therapy uses images - in art, clay, sound, sand, or just the images inside your own head to help the therapist understand your inner world and experience.
It is not necessary to be artistic in any technical sense - we all have a creative side, but have often not been encouraged to use this in our everyday lives. Creative therapy offers a safe space to explore feelings in a creative way.
Have a look at our links on the left and you will get a bit more infomation on three therapies that I have personally studied myself and found of great therapeutic value.
